Grange seems like the super-bowl of motorized bike races.
I wish we had something similar here in the Midwest.
Ive never been, and would like to know more about it.
A few questions please:

1. How long is the track.

2. How many laps around that twisty track?

3. Can anyone explain the different classes?

4. How about a list of winners, who finished 2nd, 3rd, etc. and possibly a short description of the machine involved.

Thanks in advance!

The name is Socal Motor Bicycle Racing and we also race at
other tracks than Grange Motor Circuit.

Our 16th race since June 2011 is on Sat Oct 17th.

Are there any Socal Motor Bicycle Racers that read this forum?

There is motorized bicycle racing in St Louis and their group
will be racing on Oct 17th with us for the second time.

We are racing CCW on Sat Oct 17th at Grange Motor Circuit
which is 0.7 miles long.

We do two 6 lap heats and a 10 lap final race but some of the
classes race on the half track using the cut out.

Interesting!
That track sure looks longer than .7 mile.
Any record of who won each race, and what machinery was used?
Can you give us a breakdown on the different class's...
Thank you in advance!

KTM 50cc clone and a 66cc "China girl" with a Puch head in a old Schwinn frames
with custom tanks made and raced by Andy #59.

Andy won the Midrange class on the KTM at the May 30th Willpw race
and also won the Expert China girl which now has a Fred competition head,

Those look like some fine machinery!
The 66cc has some interesting ventilation holes on the mag cover.
The 50cc clone has a large sprocket on rear, and dual plugs!

Can you please explain midrange vs novice, vs. expert.
As an outside looking in, Im confused on the different classes.
Thanks again!
