Maintenance on Staton Friction Drive?

I have the Staton friction drive kit with a Honda GX35 on my Trek mountain bike. I was wondering if I need to do any kind of maintenance, like lubricating the drive roller bearings, etc.

I have the engine manual, and I am following the instructions for oil changes, cleaning the air filter, and so on, but I do not have any documentation on the Staton kit itself. There isn't much information on the Staton web site.

Pretty maintenance free.I tried lubing the bearings once, wasn't worth it, too hard to use a needle without hurting them..Keep a couple spares on hand, and replace when they start squeaking.I'd keep it clean as you can on the inside and outside of the channel around the bearings, that's what causes wear, grit.
