As yall may know... im new to the motorbike hobby. i just put on my new tourquer 2 exhaust and noticed a gap between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust. i put the gasket back on and i dont want to try n force it down and cause damage to the threads.

is there some type high temp silicone rtv i can use or should i go with an epoxy or some type of liquid metal. i would appreciate some help figurin this one out.

i dont want to be cleanin oil off the motor and bike frame after every ride.

sounds like the exhaust is hitting somewhere that prevents it from going on all the way

you might have to shift motor mount or something to get it to clear

I know of no expoxy of liquied metal that will withstand the temp....you must make the joints meet somehow...

Yeah, no expoxy or anything like that will hold for very long.

I can think of 3 solutions, that is if your pipe is truly in the right place.

1. File or grind exhaust pipe flange until it fits correctly.

2. Heat up and bend pipe until flange is at correct angle.

3.Add several exhaust gaskets with one end cut off so as to fill gap. File or sand the cut ends flatwise so that gasket has angle from good to cut end. This is probably a temporary solution but depending on accurate you get it, it might last a while.
