New HT motors $75

That might be the same guy offering $90 motors w/free shipping...............I dunno.

This is a good time to ask: Over teh Winter or at least in the Spring, I will purchase a new HT engine. Yeah, I could drop $90 right now and be pretty happy but I am wondering if the more experienced motorbikers could suggest something akin to an uplevelHT engine. Something with better bearings, better compression, better rings, etc. in, say, the $150 to $225 range. I am looking for tried and true, not just claims of higher quality.

Thanks!

you won't find any of those sort of upgrades until you start hitting $500+. My advice is to buy a bottom end from piston bikes ( http://www.pistonbikes.com/product-p/epcc15a.htm ) and a top end kit from crmachine ( http://shop.crmachine.com/product.sc?productId=65&categoryId=16 ). it'll be a little over budget but that's the best you can do without spending an assload of money.

alternatively, you can go to thatsdax.com and buy their stage 1 little evil engine if you're not big on building your own engine. it'll be a little cheaper and a little slower

Thanks! I don't know if I am ready to dive into building a new HT engine. The Dax Stage 1 engine looks like a superior product.
