Is this End Play normal?

Hello,

While working on replacing the pull start "catch wheel", which I broke due to a stupid mistake, I noticed the main engine crank had quite a bit of end play (see video below). The engine is just going through its second tank so its barely broken in. Is this normal? Should I worry about it? There are no weird noises or anything during operation, it runs just fine.

have seen this on the small main bearing motors with a bearing with built in seal on one side - bearings sit a bit loose on the shaft & have no shims

OTOH, have not seen a failure due to this yet

end play is far better than no endplay.
