    Default Spring loaded chain tensioner

    Hey all,
I came across this pic. that I had saved, but can't for the life of me remember where it came from.
Take a look and let's discuss, as I would really like to do something like this on my 80cc '63 Schwinn Speedster.

It looks pretty basic and simple to do.
Chop an old derailuer, fabricate mounting bracket, weld to chopped derailuer, fabricate frame mount , weld, then bolt it up.
    Whatcha think?

It looks doable. I wonder about mounting the tensioner directly to the motor rather than the bike frame. That might make alignment easier, also more integrated with the driving sprocket.
