The weather looking good and the bureau of meteorology gave a wonderfully positive forecast for the early days of March, so i decided to make my way to the gateway of Victoria's major alpine cycling hill climbs in the picturesque township of Bright.
As things turned out, the first day of my mountain attack would prove to be an epic battle against the torturous inclines of the Mt Hotham ascent, as depicted by the photos.
Thankfully i am still in the peak of physical fitness; with not a drop of sweat on me as i reached the summit, to partake in a refreshing cold beverage.
