Hello,
I just found this place and decided to join to trade ideas as I work my project.
I have a Schwinn Meridian Trike and want to go electric with it!
I can no longer ride two wheelers but still want the wind in my face!
so any help or ideas will be a great help!

Thanks
Mike

Use a 48 volt 1500 watt motor this should give you plenty of power. A multiple speed hub is advisable if you have hills to contend with. You'll probably be more comfortable on a recumbent trike with the two wheels up front. Let us know the level of your mechanical skills before talking to much more about setups.

Well with my brain injury I don't always understand technical things the way i used to but i think I am fairly mechanical... I was checking out some tadpoles @ atomic zombie but it has been 25+ yrs since I welded anything LOL I will be hot on CL looking for the possibility of a new starter bike and building that up! The meridian may be a good lab to try things
Thanks!
