Dr. J's Bikes
These bike were as much fun to build as to ride! :>)
Damn, those bikes look so good! What size motor does that last bike have?

Thanks Tom for the kudos! All of the bikes have 80cc (70cc) King's motors. The best upgrades so far have been the new style clutch lever (all but the top bike), chain roller (inline skate wheel), and 510 BMX chain.

What is the deal with that frount hub? Is that a drum brake?

Yes it is a drum. Front and back are Grubee heavy spoke aluminum wheels.

USA Today- Dec 12 p. 7c mentioned some HIGH dollar bikes, plus this $550 Amsterdam Cruiser
Other high tech gadgets were Thump Pro sunglasses with mp3 capacity, and a LED light from knogusa.com for $28.

Must have those wheels. How much for wheel with drum brake?

I bought both wheels on ebay for $100.00 a few months ago. You might check with Mike Simpson to see if he still sells them.
