Your bike's motoring along quite nice on the hard sand! Make sure to wash the salt off after a ride, but I'm sure you already know that

Byron is a nice place if you can stay away from the crowds of visitors!

I wouldn't put anything I want to last on a beach. Sand and salt mean high wear rates, corrosion and a shed load of work keeping everything running properly.
