Ok so I got the brass fuel petcock - it's much better than the original one. The new gasket I got burned through after 3 days of using it 30 minutes a day (my commute)..Here are the new pics from yesterday.

use the coark and rubber gasket you can buy it at auto zone by the roll and it last a long time .

I'm going to go buy that tomorrow after work but I currently have some old sock pieces cut to fit instead
