First time friction drive kit. need a new roller

i trade for a bike wit a friction drive kit and i see the roller is weared down.
i dont know the brand of the kit and im not sure do i need a special type of roller.
thanks for any info that you can give me
 
Is the channel aluminum or steel? If aluminum try staton, steel try DAX. Any pics?

Pretty sure thats a DAX kit if not DAXs rollers should work.
 
That one is easy to change. It looks like it has alot of life left in it, why change it? If its because the nubs are worn down that don't mean a thing. Just put a lil more pressure on the tire is all. You can get a few thousand more miles out of that roller, its friction drive remember. Dax only has 1 in and 1 1/4 roller sizes.
