Light plus white wire question
I have a 6V/2.4W bulb and housing setup and i'm wondering if i can hook it up to the white wire? Will the bulb blow?

Silver & Black Melvin star 7 speed,
Dellorto sha 16 type carby with red filter,
Banana power pipe,
Screaming roo compression head,
NiCr performance lead
SBP shift kit
Manifold has been opened up to match intake hole for smoother air flow

It will work but you wouldnt want to go more than half throttle or it will blow. If you want a light that will work for most of the RPM range you will want a 7.5 v volt globe. You could perhaps use the 6volt with a resistor if you have to use the six volt globe.

The question is it will blow, probably will. If you search the forum you will find that the using the white wire to power a light is almost useless. It robs too much electricity from the coil. There are some that have had luck with a LED light...not many for the cost.

okay thanks for the replies. I will not be using the white wire. I have a 50 LED light that is bright enough for what i need it for. If it zaps power then F that lol
