Unhappy My one of a kind project was ripped off!! please look.

Well it's been a while since I posted here, a lot has gone down in my life since then..........a while ago my blue '82 Schwinn Cruiser with the little Italian 50CC moped engine was stolen right from my yard here in Chino, Calif.
Really kills me that it's gone......anyone that's seen pics of it would recognize it by it's different setup.

Here's the old post with pics, would appreciate ANY info...thanks all.

I feel for you, man, and hope you get it back.

Yes, I remember seeing it on you-tube, of you riding in the school parking lot.

    So sad.
Honey, it's just a bicycle. and i REALLY need it to excercise, and to ride it to work.(hehe)

Hey i just saw pics of it and will keep an eye out. I'm in ontario and do a lot of cruising through upland and rancho too so if i see it i'll definitely let you know. i doubt theyre going to be cruising it around anytime soon since they risk being seen on something so custom but you never know. i talk to a couple MB builders in my neighborhood and talked to a few i see in town. I'll let them know to keep an eye out too.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Surprising how many people there are that have the mentality to steal another persons property.

Had mine stolen out of our garage a short time ago that had a custom 9 speed drive.

We have to lock them up even in our own yard or garage, pretty discouraging.

I will keep my eye out for it down here in Santa Barbara. If I see one with a mount like that I will know its yours.

OMG, So sorry to hear!!! The same thing just happened to me a month ago and actually this video helped inspire me to go with a morini for my next build. It pains me to see that you have suffered the same fate. I hope you recover your bike. I'm on the east coast, but I will be sure to keep eyes out anyway since I'm always scanning the street looking for mine.
    Best wishes,
    P

I can't understand why somebody would do that, that really sucks.

I remember driving around looking for my bike after it was stolen in case it was was still in the area. Luckily for who ever stole it I never caught up with them.

Sorry to hear that thing got so bad here in Dallas I got cameras system it got to the point they had the balls to come into my fenced in yard and try to steal the charcoal starter, the ******* did not know we put a alarm on the gate and put in cameras caught the ******* in the act.
That was after almost loosing my little scooter thank god the manager seen the man take it and called to police .
He got the scooter back but even though the ******* had mine and 3 other scooters in his house that did not belong to him the cop said we cannot arrest him because I (the cop) did not see him take it .
No wonder they get away with it ; we asked the cop how could we stop him from coming in our yard stealing thing , the cop said make sure he has something of your in his had and shoot him, or put a wepon in his had after you shoot him . I kidd you not!
