Actually there was no pre planing for the frame. I did mark the angle of the fork before cutting the frame. Next I bent the drop loop with a modified 3/4' EMT bender. Then just built around the drop loop. I was supprised when I went back an saw the date that I started this project. Still using it for a daily rider with a sidecar. Hope this helps a little let me know if I can help in any way.

The chain tensioner is a custom design. It also has a roller above the chain to prevent noisy chain slap.

I,ve put at least 5k miles on this bike. I have six good running bikes but this my old tried & true. It also has a sidecar for shows & parades.
