Texas: Garland, Mesquite, Rockwall, Greenville
I am a 30yo man, country guy, with a Grubee beach cruiser.

Looking for friends here.
I would like to ride Motor Bicycles in this area. I can do a lot of bicycle adjustments and repairs.
I also ride mountain bikes on Dorba trails.
Someone yelled at me while getting in their car, "ARE YOU TOO LAZY TO PEDAL?" I almost fell off the bike laughing at the irony.

I live a bit south (Ellis County), but the traffic is far better for riding down here. Does not take very long to get to the FM roads that were bypassed by the interstate and state highways. Mostly old locals use them (you know.....the ones who always drive 15 under the speed limit). Hope to get together sometime when time permits.

I'm waaaaay down in the rio grande valley, Harlingen, so it would really take a lot of riding to get up where you guys are.
There are plenty of intelligent people in America, the only problem is it’s the unintelligent people who run it.

You are 100 miles away, but I can visit sometime. Pickup gets 18mpg, not the best but not the worst. I might drain the gas and put the wheels in the car, and the bike in trunk. That would be 25mpg. Is there a good taco or burger place there? Small towns are usually the best.
I have a GPS on my bike too. Do they work ok there? Do you have a bike route to take guests on?
I am usually bicycling or MB riding on weekends.

Maybe you can take photos of scenic roads there to share on this board. That would be neat.
Greenville is a popular place for a road bicycle race every year. Maybe we could get a group of MB's to trail along after the racers and follow one of the routes (They have 40-65mile routes at avg 25mph)
re: Harlingen.
I wouldn't like to drive that far on a road motorcycle even. I like them but I don't care for riding them for more than 5 hours at a stretch. MB's are even slower. You'd probably be tired of it by San Antonio!

I had a nice ride in downtown Dallas for the 4th of July. I liked seeing the tall buildings from a bike.
