Monkeylectric bike lights
Ok, so it may not be so safe, but man, they are cool!
I ride my bike a lot in the dark, and always am looking for more ways to brighten it up!

Fabian, you always seem to say something like "I'm waving my credit card right now..." every time something new & awesome comes out... Why not order a set then? Think of all the "reward points" or "air miles" you would get from a purchase like this
Also, surely you would be the first member here to sport them on your bike
That is indeed cool, if I had a set I would have one wheel scrolling "MotoredBikes.com" and pictures of member's bikes going on the other
Hey, would I get paid by this site if I did something like that????

Hi Rob,
I've already done my research - i'll be going to see the Australian importer of these lights at the start of my week-off (this Thursday).
Their location is not far from where i live.
There's no justification for me to have them on my bike, it's just that need to have it.

Well has anyone went to there site yet, you can actually buy the normal unit for only $65 with free shipping,(USA) it comes preloaded with all the images effects etc.....
http://store.monkeylectric.com/Produ...ductCode=m133s
The unit on You-Tube is the custom built model with user interface, the standard model is reasonably enough priced..... it would be cool for those long summer evenings !!!!!!!

I did go to the page, they say for speeds 8-25 MPH, not to exceed 30 MPH. I am over that!
I was just saying safety problem do to driver distractions! I would prob put a pic of a schoolgirl with my bike on it!Last edited by Hawaii_Ed; 03-23-2010 at 09:00 PM.

Thanks Vegas....no I did not go to the site, and I am ashamed to say so. I am now looking at this product more earnestly. I may contact them to see if it can be ordered with custom pics loaded.
