Tandem bicycle project
I'm starting a tandem bike project. It's going to have a 2 cycle motor with a jackshaft through the rear passengers bottom bracket. I've been having problems locating a shaft/sprocket that's suitable for my purposes. I've seen pictures of what I need so I know it can be done. I've been told to try staton-inc so I think I might give them a call. I'd also like someones input on what gear ratio I should go with. spcifically the jackshaft and freewheel (see attachments). I've got some small hills in my area so I think I need some lower gearing. I think the pedal gearing should be on low side too. It's got seven gears so I think I should have enough range. more to come.
