Three cheers for Groucho's post:
Where has the mechanical innovation dudes gone? Where are the inventors and modification's dudes posts. You know, the ones that used to keep me coming back here 10 times a day. (There's still some there but far between)
The fact is once you been through the MB thing time and time again without anything innovating It gets rather boring. Where are the "step by step" grinding, welding, start to finish post that teach those who are bored? I came here to learn about MB's first and foremost.
Once you reach this stage whats left? Politics, debating world views? It has been the same with every forum i've been lucky enough to be part of. I guess you join, learn everything you can from it. Get bored, wade through the politics posts, then leave.

Maybe i'm completely wrong, but the inventors and mechanical innovation dudes seem to be gone, or banned...
The site desperately needs to attract these people, even if they need to be paid a cash incentive to post on the site!

Hi Sparky
I've made a bike and video, but i would like to see bikes and videos other people have built, lets say by someone who owns an engineering shop with a 5 axis CNC mill, machining up a frame with integrated engine and shift kit out of a solid block of aluminium or an electronics package designed and built by someone who owns a software company that can have telemetry data exchange between passing motorised bikes through an NFC chip integrated into the engine management software package.
That's the kind of stuff bringing 10,000 people to the site 20 times a day; eagerly watching the project development curve and the countdown to public purchase of the technology.
Like all of these projects they have no profit value as they have no business model attached to their design and production, only being of value as part of a person hobby activities and to cover cost of materials.Last edited by Fabian; 04-24-2012 at 10:16 PM.
