    Default Honda GX100

Here is the auction for it on Ebay...

Would I be right in guessing this is the same as the GX50 & GX35 with the higher idle?

I see it has the same 5/8" shaft, curious about whether it could be set with just a centrifugal clutch.

Price seems very good, as well as the seller...

Twice the displacement (about 100ccs versus 50 ccs), half the engine speed (3600 rpm versus over 7000 rpm), twice the weight (23 lbs. versus under 12 lbs.) for 12% more power than the the GXH50.

So I am taking it (just for knoweldge) that the GX100 could be slapped on with a regular centrifugal clutch and be ran that way???

Thanks for the quick reply houghmade...

I think it could be done, but you would still need a pretty big rear sprocket.

IMO you'd be better off with a 2.5HP 79cc HF chinese engine, than a GX100. Cheaper too.

works great, see my bike in picture gallery, nirve/stretch cruiser. using a gx100 with a maxtorque centrifical 5/8 clutch, 2/1 reduction etc. etc. belt drive.
