    Default subaru on its side

I frequently need to transport my GEBE bike in my pickup truck but am worried about putting the engine on its side. Will this hurt the engine? Thanks.

don't think any harm will be done

but keep a look out for the following
hard starting after being on it's side
    smoke
    oil driping out onto pickup

these little engines don't hold much oil -- if any is lost -- replace before running

    ride that motor bike

    fetor -- that's much better -- upright

my wifes pickup has some slide brackets inside lip both sides of bed
makes it real easy for upright MB
right pedal bungied to one bracket
front wheel bungied into corner of truck

or could use two as used with garden gate ((handle))
two handles can be screwed or bolted onto sides of bed -- so as to stand MB up

    ride the motor bike

I would worry about the gas leaking but the motor oil is fine as those engines are basically a dry sump. My partner crashed his once and he commented that even while upside down it was still running and no harm was done. Well except to his shin anyway.

that engine was made to run in any position

transporting it on the side will not harm anything
