    Default chopped stretched cruiser

    well i have bitten the bullet and decided to build a hand made from from recycled bike parts..

    will be using a briggs and stratton 4HP motor with a complex jackshaft arrangement for pedal drive etc/,

    enjoy..

    Your frame looks great. Nice shape and plenty of room for the engine. It looks plenty solid. Ive been toying with my motor mount/jackshaft design also. Im mounting behind the seat post so it will be a little diferent. I'll be interested to see what you come up with. Have fun on your build. graucho

    graucho, killer build there mate..

    wish i had the time to build from scratch!! maybe when i finish building our new house I will be able to build a bike from scratch!

    what motor are you running?

    have shortened the bottom bracket shell about 100mm to get better clearence from the from the front wheel, decided to make it look a bit more attractive by making a triangulated setup (like the old iron horse frames from the 1990's at the rear end) so looks 100 times better and much stronger..

    funny thing is that 30T TREE sprocket is worth more than the entire bike so far!!

    LOL looks like your going from scratch to me. You didnt get a solid frame and put it together. (which is ok too) My engine is off of a doodle bug mini bike
    that I had shelved for a few years.

    Your engine will be killer on that bike. I only want to get 20 mph out of mine.
    You'll get a good 40. Your seat pan looks cool also.
