Four stroke muffler idea

Looking for a cool looking muffler for the Gxh50 and Huasheng type engines? I used the exhaust tip from a Volkswagen beetle. The early model bugs with air cooled engines. Some people call these tips stingers. Kinda loud but they they take the edge off. Just braze it to your exhaust header pipe.

I'm interested in the topic and curious how it works out for you if you try it.
I'd like to work up something for these utility type engines that would not severely reduce engine performance and if possible cut exhaust noise to half.
