    Default Hi from Seattle

    Hi all, Seattle here...
    Just joined, just getting started on the idea of powering up. i like the idea of jumping in over my head 1st with a custom friction drive, but am thinking it might be wiser to starting from a kit, making a few mistakes with someone else's parts and pieces and then venturing out on my own design build. is this too sensible a place to start?

    Welcome guys - there are a LOT of Puget Sound nuts around here! We should have a local meet somewhere - but also there is the upcoming Ocean Park meet.
