I met a gal who got a DUI while riding a 49cc scooter and she was charged with driving while under restraint [suspension in co]. When she went to court the ADA had to drop the driving under restraint to driving without a valid license because of the under 50cc law. The DMV wont be charging her any points on her record due to it being under 50ccs. Im not exactly sure where the good news is in this but its a ray of hope. This can only work for the better for a MAB because a scooter is a step up in classifacation...............
