Help on hub assembly!

Hi,
Is there anybody knows where I can get a drawing showing the assembly of my rear wheel?
I bought my motored beach cruser used and the guy assembled something wrong in the rear hub. He told me it went about 50 feet and "bound up" in the hub. He bought a new rim with hub and thats as far as he went.
