Hi All
Yeah,--
This is BIG NEWS for Aussie Buyers who shop at ZBOX.

The Z50 & Z80

The Z50 is updated from the F50 ( still at AU$ 235)
With the inclusion of Conrod Roller bearings
on the Piston Pin,
which replaces the Brass Bush.
Also the Inclusion of a New
"Super ball bearing chain guide"
+ a SPARE spark plug
+ Spare exhaust gasket
+ Spare chain clip .

The Z80 is called "the Super Z80 kit @AU$275"
And replaces the F80..
And i am waiting (from Zbox) for the detailed Info of the Z80 internals,
and whether it has the same upgrades as the Z50.

I will update this thread when i am in the know.

Ok-I received response from zbox regarding Z80 internals,
& Yes is the answer!!
Excellent..

Zbox is committed to sorting out the "happy time" Quallity issues from his particular supplier,
Read the following

QUOTE:
"Dear Jase,
We have spent US$40,000 on this project to bring the Chinese engine up to international quality standards. There has never been a better 2 stroke engine to come out of china until now. I don't know what more I can say. Buy with complete confidence - I am a perfectionist but haven't had the funds until now to get this project up."

Zbox webpage has been completely updated to include the new engines

i have used Zbox and repaced an engine after 4 weeksbecause of failed conrod bush.I replaced it with a grubee engine and would never use z box again. grubee engine far better, quieter, faster, more power, powdercoated etc.

aussieboy and jman: just FYI: you're 'carping' on this guys' thread.

he is giving info on a product, so this thread is not the place to either gripe about this product, nor discuss differences/similarities of other brand kits.

EPA & ISO certificate

Yes,
The EPA & ISO certificates are now fixture on the website,
regarding both the new Series 3
Z50 & Z80 engines.
with con-rod needle bearings,
For me the EPA Certificate is Great (considering it's 2 stroke, ).

Everyone who buys from now on can be at ease with themselves & others about the emissions factor of riding the happy time.

I cant wait to get my new Z80..For me thats a few weeks away..

Does anyone know if that EPA certificate is bares credit
in the tough CALIFORNIAN EPA laws ..

Jase

z50

i agree with djase10 on the z50 engine
how was it treated and maintained did he run it in or run it out, just cause it cost $235.00 doesnt make it indestroyable
3000 engines a year in australia alone and who knows in the world
sounds like a lack of oil to me,long hard revs or not run in
only he would know and wouldnt tell if he did, would you
