  1. Thanks Mike, I still did not rule out friction drive, assuming rear tire change for smoother thread, my concern is slippage in wet weather.
    Chain drive would be good but it is heavy, I know there is always a compromise, trying to find the middle road which would be workable.

    Also with friction drive there is no concern about gear ratio, only roller size matters not the diameter of the wheel.

  2. Thanks. Red bike was a build, teardown, rebuild with improvements, repeat for an entire winter. The end results were a near perfect ride. Blue bike is a strictly stock Staton kit.
