Hi Dave, appologies for not replying before now, have had trouble with my e-mails. I wouldn't by any means put myself up as an expert on these little 2 stroke motors, they tend to be somewhat subjective. You mentioned that youv'e only had yours' for a while so I guess it isn't broken in yet, I found with mine that it improved in performance after about 600Ks. I would suggest however that you get yourself a new muffler and ride it for a time before you start any mods, then just do one at a time to see what effect it has made. I'm coming down to Auckland on the 27th of this month so I could possibly drop by if you like, give us your address and PH number so I can contact you when I'm down there.
