  1. Staton has been sitting on that gearbox for three months. Still no word from him, except that he'll look at it.
  2. Good to hear that gearbox is getting some use! I really would like to see what it would do with twin gp460's!!! Maybe when i come back from my next deployment ill pick another engine up and the gear box and give it a go... I really would like to break 60mph! Good to see youre still riding man! It keeps me motivated.
  3. Hey Rick!
Yes, my bike is pretty much done, and I've been using it as a daily commuter. However, I ran over an object on a wet road, which kicked up and took out my engine chain and front derailleur. I'm on vacation, so it should be fixed soon. Your twin box was sent to Staton in September. As usual, he's dragging his tail. I wouldn't be surprised if Staton hasn't even started on it. Good to hear from you. Myron
  4. Myron! Good to hear from you sir! I just got back to america a few weeks ago from iraq for work. Its been a busy year and will continue to be a handful but Ive got a little break in between jobs so im going to get my steed up and kIckin again. I actually found a dual suspension that might work with my over the tire set up. But im here in texas so riding will be a bit more difficult with the higher speeds around here. Its good to hear you got the bike perfected, are you still riding? Hope all is well sir and when i get back out to the islands ill be sure to do a little catching up!
  5. hey bud, i was wondering if you did something with the dual engine box yet?
  6. What you could do is run a length of exhaust hose from your stock muffler. Then end the hose with an SBP lawn-mower-style muffler. I think it costs about $8.00
  7. thank you for your response
  8. hi
on one of the treads i understand that you have a tanaka 40 that you installed a tnaka 47 muffler. is it more quiet. where did you buy it. is it easy to install. thank you in advance

  9. hey bud got your motor back to you today, sorry to drop in unexpected but i wanted to get it back to you sooner. i few notes about what i did: replaced the stock gasket with the copper .005 gasket, it has an ngk iridium spark plug now, new filter, tore apart the carb (which was filled with hair) cleaned it, fasioned a screw to the top coner of the engine guard as a kind of mount to hold the exhaust in place, replaced the clutch springs but they did feel a bit stiff not sure it it was because they were new or if they are just stiffer... might cause the motor to engage later? with the new gasket you'll need to run 93 octane it putter'd a bit on low octane fuel. I must say that that motor is by far the meanest thing ive seen for less than 50cc's!!! Also good news, got the dual engine gear box on the way, staton finally gave me the opportunity to pick one up! all i need is another dual cable handle a throttle cable, some mods to hook up the peanut tank and we should be in business!
  10. Yep.The most usable range for me will be halfway(1.75) to .65:1. Above that would be tractor pulling. Dual Hondas should be reliable and good on gas mileage for you. Another member here gets over 150mpg with shift kit and 460 engine. I used to get 65mpg with 460 engine and friction drive. Shift kit and NV hub should deliver great mpg and speed. We'll see.
